Here is important "need to know" info to read ....

1. Buyer Beware...many brands of FVIR gas heaters come with a LINT FILTER that must be taken apart and cleaned quarterly or your warranty is void!!

Bradford and Rheem heaters do not have this design flaw.

2.   What brands have "class action lawsuits"   or other issues that they have failed to fix properly ??

3   Beware of poor warranties! Most places never mention their Service Warranty.    So  YOU must pay  for future repairs 2 years from now, or do them yourself.!!!

4      Is it really a   "quality name brand " heater or just a name stuck  on  junk ?

5.    Can they honor the warranty ASAP today??   Will you have to wait days or weeks for service?

Look folks,   if it boldly states right on the heater.. Do not call the hardware store back about problems...call this 1-800 # for help--you were  "hung out to dry" on day 1.

If that 800# sends you over to India, then what??

6.    Can the   "plumbers helper " installer sent  to your home speak English?   Will this  "fly by night" sub-sub contractor  have a plumbing lisc.   and good insurance?

7.   Will others haul away the old heater for free?

8    Its  wise  to put  the heater in a PAN  to contain water damage.

9  If you have high water pressure, consider adding a Thermal Expansion tank and a Pressure Reducing valve. If you are not interested ,    say "no thanks" and sign off on them..    This should all be offered BEFORE  the  sale,   not  afterwards.

10   A   LARGE FLOOD can happen if the relief valve on the heater opens due to high water pressure. If  it can be run to a drain,   we will do it   FOR FREE.

11  Do you have "dip tube troubles", are your faucets clogging up with plastic chips ? We can backflush your lines for free.
