Here is info that others do not want you to know about..

1    Many FVIR gas heaters have an air  filter that has to be cleaned quarterly or the warranty is void...read the fine print before you buy one.

Bradford and Rheem do not have this problem.

2. Are their class action lawsuits on any off brands that they fail to mention?

3   Beware of poor warranties! Most claim the TANK    is covered for  6 to 12 years , but  never mention a labor Warranty.    So  YOU pay  for future repairs, or do them yourself.!!!

4      Is it truly a  "name brand " heater or just a  sticker plastered on   "off brand junk" ?

5.    Can they honor the warranty ASAP today??   Will you have to wait days--weeks for service?

If it boldly states on the heater..Do not call the store back about problems...call 1-800 # for help- you were hung out to dry on day 1.

Now, if this 800 line is always busy, how long will it take you to finally  get service??

6.    Can the "plumbers helper - installer" sent  to your home speak English?   Will this " bargain basement -sub-sub contractor" have a valid lisc.   and good insurance?

7.   Will others haul away the old heater for free?

8    Its  wise to put the heater in a DRAIN PAN  to stop water damage.

9  If you have high pressure,   consider adding a Thermal Expansion Tank  or Pressure Reducing Valve .

If you are not interested ,    say "no thanks" and sign off on them..

This should all be offered BEFORE  the  sale,   not  afterwards.

10   A LARGE FLOOD can occur , if the relief valve opens in your home due to high water pressure. If  the  pipe can be run to a drain, we will do it   FOR FREE.

11  Do you have "dip tube troubles", are your faucets clogging up with plastic chips ? We can backflush your lines for free.
